Norfolk Public Library is looking for authors for its 2nd annual author fair

NORFOLK — The Slover Library branch of Norfolk’s public libraries will be hosting their second author fair on March 2, but they need authors to apply now.

Norfolk Public Library is inviting published authors living within the Hampton Roads and surrounding areas to participate.

The event will serve as an opportunity for authors, writers and poets of various genres and subjects to promote their published work.

Participating authors will be permitted to promote, sell and sign copies of their work to the public attending the event, according to the library.

When considering applications for the author fair, a committee will give preference to writers, authors and/or poets residing in Norfolk who are traditionally published.

Once those applicants have been looked through, the committee will then move on to considering those residing outside of Norfolk city limits who have a connection with Hampton Roads.

Fill out this online form to be considered for the author fair.
