VIRGINIA BEACH — Southside Daily has partnered with the city’s police department and the Virginia Beach Crime Solvers to raise awareness about persons of interest in the city.
Crime Solvers is a nonprofit organization that accepts completely anonymous tips from residents about criminal activity. Information from tipsters is shared with police, but remains completely anonymous — no identifying information of sources is ever disclosed and the anonymity of tipsters is protected by state law.

Authorities are asking anyone with information about any of these people to contact Virginia Beach Crime Solvers.
Tipsters could also be eligible for a cash reward up to $1,000 if their information leads to an arrest.
Here’s this week’s list:
Bobby Lee Farns, 35, is wanted for failing to appear in court after violating his probation for a DUI charge, police said. His last known address was on Plainsman Court in Virginia Beach.
Bobby Gee Jr., 47, is wanted for revocation of a suspended sentence stemming from a probation violation, police said. Gee is described by police as being 6-foot-4 and weighing 285 pounds in 2014. Gee has a previous addresses in Norfolk and Virginia Beach, but police do not know his current address.
Bobbie Jean Thrasher, 37, is wanted for revocation of a suspended sentence stemming from a probation violation charge, police said. Thrasher’s last known address was on Cabin John Drive in Virginia Beach.
Roberto Antonio Rivera, 59, is wanted for contempt of court after failing to comply with a Community Corrections program, police said. His last known address was in an apartment on Baker Road. Police said Rivera has a tattoo of a heart and the name “Maria” on his left arm, and another heart tattoo with the name “Nana.”
