VIRGINIA BEACH — Take a bicycle tour of Back Bay Refuge and False Cape State Park on Oct. 27 from 9 a.m. to noon to learn more about this city.
Hosted by Lynnhaven River Now, the bike ride will take participants more than 8 miles through Back Bay National Wildlife Refuge and part of False Cape State Park.
Organizers said the riding surface vary so a mountain bike or hybrid is recommended.
The bike tour will stop mid-way at the False Cape Visitors Center for some history, rest and water refills.
This family-friendly event is free and open to the public, all you have to do is pay the $5 fee for parking.
