VIRGINIA BEACH — This Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to noon the Samaritan House and 100 Men Against Violence will come together to host “Coffee Among Men: Conversations for a Stronger Community.”
This workshop is designed to empower and educate local men on how they can personally be part of shifting our culture away from domestic violence.
According to the its Facebook Page, the “event is for men who are open to personal growth, expanding their capacity for empathy and leaving behind old selves for better future selves.”
There is no cost for the workshop, but there is a $15 suggested donation to the Samaritan House.
Coffee and buffet breakfast will be served.
Men of all ages, beliefs, races, industries and professions are invited to attend the event in honor of October being Domestic Violence Awareness Month and the #Paint757Purplecampaign.
