VIRGINIA BEACH — With the Neptune Festival running Friday through Sunday, here are a few tips on where to park at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront.
When coming to Virginia Beach during the summer season, it’s a good idea to know where to park.
There are nearly 3,500 city-owned/leased public parking spaces available for your parking convenience. This does not include private parking, available to patrons of Virgina Beach hotels and restaurants.
Here are some of the municipal parking garages:
- 2nd Street: 101 parking spaces and is open from 8 a.m. to midnight. It’s $10 per day, Friday through Sunday
- Rudee Loop Lot: 152 parking spots and is open from 8 a.m. to midnight. It’s $10 per day, Friday through Sunday
- 4th Street: 65 spaces and is capable of handling charter bus parking. It’s $10 per day, Friday through Sunday
- 9th Street: 610 parking spots in this garage and is open 24 hours a day. It’s $10 per day on special events
- 19th Street North and South lots: 534 parking spaces and are both open from 8 a.m. to 2 a.m. daily. It’s $10 per day on special events
- 25th Street lot: It’s $10 per day on special events 7 a.m. to 12:30 a.m.
- 31st Street parking garage: 532 parking spots and is open from 8 a.m. to midnight
- Rates are $2 for up to an hour, $4 for up to two hours, $6 for up to three hours and $10 for daily parking
- Croatan: 505 parking spots and open are 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. It’s $5 a day for visitors, and $3 a day for residents, but is free from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. through Sept. 30
