Coast Guard crews from Air Station Elizabeth City, North Carolina, rescued a man and his dog Lucky from a rooftop Tuesday near the Cape Fear River following Hurricane Florence.
The man and the dog were initially in a van when the flooding began but were able to get on the top of the van and eventually the roof of a building before being rescued.
