Visitors at Colonial Williamsburg over 50 can now visit the Historic Area for free after buying one single-day ticket.

Colonial Williamsburg is offering the deal through Dec. 31.

Single-day tickets cost $40.99 and grant access to exhibition sites, historic trade shops and gardens, select daily programs and the Art Museums of Colonial Williamsburg, Colonial Williamsburg said.

The pass also offers free parking at the visitor center and shuttle transportation to the Historic Area and nearby museums, hotels and Merchants Square.

The new deal cannot be combined with other discounts, and the pass must be purchased by Oct. 31.

Guests must provide proof of age to get the deal. Passes can be purchased at any Colonial Williamsburg ticket office.
