VIRGINIA BEACH — Southside Daily has partnered with the city’s police department and the Virginia Beach Crime Solvers to raise awareness about persons of interest in the city.
Crime Solvers is a nonprofit organization that accepts completely anonymous tips from residents about criminal activity. Information from tipsters is shared with police, but remains completely anonymous — no identifying information of sources is ever disclosed and the anonymity of tipsters is protected by state law.

Authorities are asking anyone with information about any of these people to contact Virginia Beach Crime Solvers.
Tipsters could also be eligible for a cash reward up to $1,000 if their information leads to an arrest.
Here’s this week’s list:
On Aug. 19, between 10 a.m. and 10:30 am, police said the man pictured placed a 50-inch HISENSE television, wall mounting unit, and a sound bar into a shopping cart and pushed it out of the store without paying.
On Aug. 27, at approximately 9:45 am, police said the same man stole a 65-inch LG television using the same method.
On July 19, at approximately 1:20 am, police said a man and a woman broke into the Xpert Automotive business on Baker Road. The suspect wearing a pink North Face hoody is a black woman, while the other suspect is a black man, police said. Both suspects appeared to be searching for cash but ended up leaving without anything.

On Aug. 17, the man broke into the Care-A-Lot Pet Supply on Diamond Springs Road. Police said he had a revolver and used it to shoot out the glass to gain entry, then stole several electronic dog collars.
On Aug. 16, police said the pictured man and woman walked into the 7-Eleven on 32nd St. The woman selected three “Club Cocktail” alcoholic beverages, picked up several cellphone chargers, and then walked out without paying. The man also picked up several cellphone chargers, walked around the store while placing the cords in his pocket, and then left without paying. Police said both suspects left the parking lot in a red Volkswagen hatchback.
On July 2, police said the man pictured above stole a package from the front porch of a home on Carew Road. On July 28, police said the same man stole a package from the front porch of a home on Winding Bank Road.
