Investigators are looking for information on Esteban Benjamin Fortin, 21, who is wanted in connection with what authorities say was a breaking and entering and attempted murder in York County on Aug. 28.

Fortin, of Newport News, is also wanted on warrants for use and discharge of a firearm in the commission of a felony and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, the York-Poquoson Sheriff’s Office said in a Facebook post.

On Aug. 28, a 17-year-old male called to report someone had entered his home by force around 8:30 p.m. in the 100 block of Little Bay Avenue in York County. Before authorities arrived on the scene, the suspects fired shots at the victim’s vehicle and fled the area in a black sedan.
