The carnival is coming to Virginia Beach

VIRGINIA BEACH — The carnival is coming to the Virginia Beach Farmers Market, and everyone is invited.

Dubbed as “an end of summer celebration,” on a Facebook page for the event, the carnival will run Friday (Aug. 31) through Monday, as well as Sept. 8 and 9.

Rides include a ferris wheel, whirly-cups, and more, according to the event’s Facebook page.

“Fair food,” including funnel cakes, fried Oreos, hotdogs, and cotton candy, will also be available.

Here are the ticket prices:

  • Single: $1.25
  • 25 Tickets: $25
  • 50 Tickets: $45

Rides take between 2-4 tickets per person, according to the event page. Tickets can be purchased onsite.

In celebration of the first night of the carnival Friday, there will be a “wristband special.” For $20, patrons will receive a wristband that allows for unlimited rides.
