There’s no doubt about it — the superintendent, administrators and staff at Williamsburg-James City County Public Schools are excited for this year’s start of classes Sept. 4.
And they’re showing it loud and proud.
Following the model of law enforcement across the country, WJCC Schools dropped a lip-sync video Friday to the tune of American Authors’ “Best Day of My Life.”
In the video, teachers and administrators wearing WJCC Schools shirts and comfortable summer clothes dance through the halls and rooms of various schools.
Superintendent Olwen Herron makes a star appearance in the video, driving a school bus full of staff up to the curb at one school.
Friday was also convocation for teachers, a formal assembly kicking off the school year.
