Williamsburg man charged with sexually assaulting students at martial arts academy

A Williamsburg man has been charged with multiple sex offenses after he allegedly raped and assaulted several students at a martial arts academy he owns.

Jeremy Allen Armstead, 30, is charged with four counts of abduction, five counts of rape, four counts of sodomy, strangulation and indecent exposure, Newport News Police said Friday.

He was arrested at 7:02 p.m. Thursday without incident.

Armstead is the owner and operator of Xtreme Dragon’s Black Belt Academy at 13901 Warwick Blvd.

Police say the victims are three juvenile students at the academy.
