VIRGINIA BEACH — If you love food, drink, and alliteration, there’s a place for you to be this weekend.
Hunt Club Farm in Virginia Beach is hosting the “Beer, Bourbon and BBQ” festival Saturday.
What’s being described in Hunt Club’s website as “a great day of beer sippin’, bourbon tastin’, music listenin’, and barbecue eatin,” the festival runs 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. for its regular session. It will feature 40 bourbons and 60 different beers on tap for tasting.

Tickets for the festival can be purchased here, and are also available at the door.
Admission includes a sampling glass for tastings of beer and bourbon, according to Hunt Club’s website.
This year will feature an expanded floor plan, free collectible barbecue bag to the first 200 people in line, along with live bluegrass music, and hot sauces and barbecue accessories for purchase.
Barbecue offerings are available for purchase and include pulled pork from whole hogs, ribs, brisket, chickens, and sausages. There will also be seminars in the “tasting theater” with master distillers, brew masters, and barbecue pit masters from the deep south, according to Hunt Club’s website.
The festival is also offering reduced price “designated driver” tickets, so people can sample the beer and bourbon responsibly. Those tickets are only available at Hunt Club Farm on the day of the festival and cannot be purchased online, according to their website.
