VIRGINIA BEACH — The public is invited to a roundtable to discuss local flooding. The workshop, hosted by state Del. Kelly Convirs-Fowler, is on Wednesday at 6 p.m. in the city’s Parks and Recreation Building.
According to the Facebook event page hosted by Fowler, Wednesday’s meeting will be divided into work groups based on the following topics that were identified in past meetings:
- Stormwater maintenance – who’s responsible and what’s the plan?
- New development in Virginia Beach – planning and approval process.
- Capital improvement plans – priorities and planning.
- Who is accountable for stormwater infrastructure?
Fowler asks that participants RSVP and indicate the work group on which they would like to focus.
