VIRGINIA BEACH — Food? Check! Drinks? Check! Music? Check! Art? Check mate!
Friday evening Mirth Incorporated is bringing part four of the Artist’s Block to the trio of businesses at the intersection of Norfolk and Cypress avenues.
“It’s a great way to support local artists, musicians, and businesses while networking,” said Jeff Tarkenton, creator and organizer of the event, which he said gives local artists a chance to present their art in an informal, relaxed atmosphere.
Friday’s event will begin at 8 p.m. at a block of three businesses: Back Bay Brewing, Zeke’s Beans & Bowls, and Pizza Chapel.
Among the featured artists at Back Bay are: Raytheon Dunn, Mallory Jarrell, Vivian Rose Beason, Ernest Flores, Chris Stoll, Victorian Bones, CW Waddell, Jeff Tarkenton, Christopher Jude Ranes, and Danielle Eckhardt. There will also be tunes by DJ Doodie and at 10 p.m. live music from Pain in the Yeahs.
Mallory Spencer, Lara Smith, and Kelsey Witt will display their work at Zeke’s, while at Parrish Majestic and Mike Smack will be at Pizza Chapel.
The event will run until midnight.
