Possible shooting Saturday at 7-Eleven in James City County, police say

JAMES CITY — James City County Police responded to a possible shooting Saturday night at a county 7-Eleven.

There are no known injuries.

Police responded to a call of a shooting around 10:45 p.m. at the 7-Eleven on the corner of Centerville and Longhill roads, at 5534 Centerville Rd., James City County Police spokeswoman Stephanie Williams said.

Officers and investigators arrived to find multiple shell casings and spoke to multiple witnesses, but nobody involved in the shooting was still on scene, Williams said.

The incident is still under investigation.
