Federal jury indicts Virginia Beach robbery suspect

A 32-year-old Norfolk man now stands accused of a federal crime.

A grand jury indicted Desmond Littlejohn for robbery of a federal firearm licensee and use of a firearm during a robbery.

If convicted, he faces a mandatory minimum term of seven years in prison and a maximum term of life, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Virginia.

Prosecutors say he and an unnamed accomplice “conducted an armed robbery of Mac’s Reload, a federal firearm licensee located in Virginia Beach.”

The pair allegedly pointed a gun at the owner and an employee and demanded money.

According to the indictment, the duo took approximately $9,000 from the business.
