This August, Williamsburg Police, CVS and Walgreens are working to make sure students go back to school with the supplies they need to succeed.

Williamsburg Police will host two “stuff the trailer” school supply drives next month: from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Aug. 4 at the Walgreens at 1309 Richmond Road and from 10 a.m. to  2 p.m. Aug. 5 at the CVS at 1600 Richmond Road, according to a release from the department.

Donations of unopened school supplies such as notebooks, paper, pencils, pens, crayons and construction paper are needed, police said.

Supplies also can be dropped off at the Williamsburg Police Department headquarters, 425 Armistead Ave., or in a specially marked bin inside Walgreens until Aug. 24.
