VIRGINIA BEACH — A female juvenile has been arrested in connection with a shooting Thursday afternoon.
Police said it happened in the 3200 block Winterberry Lane at around 4:11 p.m.
Authorities did not disclose the girl’s age — they said she is charged with shooting into an occupied dwelling and conspiracy.
Numerous shots were fired at a house from the suspect’s vehicle. It also appears that the girl the and a person inside the home knew each other, police said.
Police were able to track down the alleged shooter. She is held at a juvenile detention center, police said.
No injuries were reported.
