WILLIAMSBURG — For an evening of free live music, head down to Jamestown Jams on July 27.

Harley Boone, a country cover band hailing from Richmond, will be playing from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Jamestown Beach Event Park, James City County said in a news release.

The six-piece band — boasting a fiddle, harp, authentic country harmonies and more — is slated to begin releasing original material later this year.

Jamestown Jams is partnered with The Arc of Greater Williamsburg, a nonprofit that serves adults with developmental disabilities. According to the James City County website, The Arc will be selling assorted beer at the event to raise money for their local programs.

Other vendors will also be selling food and drinks, although attendees are free to bring a picnic. Remember, it’s BYOB (bring your own blankets).
