William & Mary Police are searching for a runaway teenager in Williamsburg.
The College of William & Mary sent a Tribe Alert just after 1:15 p.m. Wednesday to let the community know of the ongoing search.
The teenager is a light-skinned, 15-year-old male who is 5-foot-7 and roughly 130 pounds, according to the alert.
He is believed to be wearing a light blue T-shirt and dark blue basketball shorts, and he may have a sling on one arm.
A William & Mary Police spokeswoman said the teenager was not affiliated with the college. He was a part of a group taking a walk through campus.
Police ask residents to call 757-221-4596 to report a sighting, but caution the community not to engage the teenager if he is spotted.
