VIRGINIA BEACH — Want to see such famous structures as the White House, Washington Monument, Jefferson Memorial, Lincoln Memorial, Statue of Liberty, Independence Hall, Old North Church, and even the Liberty Bell, but don’t want to do all that driving?
Don’t worry, in the coming days you can just take a short drive to Town Center and see them all.
The LEGO Americana Roadshow is coming to town Saturday and the displays will be there through July 29.
Along with the amazing models, the 17-day event will provide hands-on activities such as a fully staffed LEGO Play Area, Follow the Map Find the Model activity, and Make and Take build event.
The displays will be spread throughout Town Center with “home base” being located in the Fountain Plaza. Attendees will receive maps which guide them to the nine different display locations.
The unique roadshow typically attracts as many as 20,000 to 30,000 people throughout its duration and there are only eight of the roadshows put on throughout the country each year.

LEGO Americana Tour is a highly visual and educational traveling installation of larger-than-life LEGO buildings.
The replicas of iconic buildings and architectural structures will be on exhibit throughout Town Center. Models are built by LEGO Master Builders, each large-scale LEGO model on display is made entirely of LEGO bricks.
The displays will be open Monday-Saturday 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday 12-6 p.m. For those attending the show, select restaurants and retailers in Town Center will provide special discounts.
