Drivers who travel on Route 199 for their morning commute may want to consider taking another way to work Friday.
One lane of Route 199 west at the College Creek bridge will be closed beginning 8:30 a.m. Friday, according to a press release from James City County.
The lane is expected to be closed for about six hours.
The closure will allow the James City Service Authority to repair a water line.
The county advises motorists to expect traffic delays.
