VIRGINIA BEACH — Southside Daily has partnered with the city’s police department and the Virginia Beach Crime Solvers to raise awareness about persons of interest in the city.
Crime Solvers is a nonprofit organization that accepts completely anonymous tips from residents about criminal activity. Information from tipsters is shared with police, but remains completely anonymous — no identifying information of sources is ever disclosed and the anonymity of tipsters is protected by state law.
Here’s this week’s list:
On June 3, police say the man in the photo above walked into the Pet Supplies Plus on Kempsriver Drive and stole two Kong brand toys and a Kong brand bone. The man placed those items in his pants and walked out of the store without paying, according to police.
On May 31, police say the four women pictured above entered the Harris Teeter on Ferrell Parkway. Each person filled large purses with baby formula and left the store without buying anything, according to police.
On May 23, police say the man pictured above walked into the ABC store on General Booth Boulevard. The man grabbed a bottle of Platinum Vodka, hid it in his pants, and then left the store without paying, according to police.
Authorities are asking anyone with information about any of these people to contact Virginia Beach Crime Solvers at 888-LOCK-U-UP (888-562-5887). Tip can also be submitted through the P3Tips website or by downloading the P3 Tips app, available in Apple iTunes and Google Play stores.
Tipsters could also be eligible for a cash reward up to $1,000 if their information leads to an arrest.
