Sheriff’s office looking for suspects in attempted thefts from vehicles in York

The York-Poquoson Sheriff’s Office is asking the public to help identify two suspects captured on video trying to open vehicle doors last month in the Kiln Creek neighborhood in York County.

Footage captured from a security camera May 22 shows two hooded figures attempting to enter six parked vehicles by pulling on the vehicles’ door handles. After finding that all of the vehicle doors are locked, the two subjects leave the area.

Anyone able to identify the suspects in the video or who has information about these incidents should contact the York-Poquoson Sheriff’s Office crime line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP or the tip line at 757-890-4999.
