NORFOLK — Police here said a man’s body was found on a beach near Ocean View Monday morning.
Officers were sent around 8:10 a.m. on a report of an unresponsive man lying on the sand on a beach in the 100 block of west Ocean View Avenue.
He was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
“We are treating this as an individual case with no foul play currently suspected,” said Norfolk Police spokesman Will Pickering.
The man’s body will be taken to the Office of Chief Medical Examiner to determine the exact cause of death.
