VDOT is joining the social media craze and starting a Hampton Roads Facebook group.
The group, which is open to the public, provides an online space for residents to learn about, provide feedback on and seek answers to VDOT-related matters within the Hampton Roads District, according to a news release from the department.
The Hampton Roads District covers nine counties and 11 cities, stretching west to Greensville County, north to James City County and east to Virginia Beach and the Eastern Shore.
“I’m excited about this new opportunity for the public to see the many ways our work touches their lives,” said VDOT Hampton Roads district engineer Chris Hall, in the news release. “This will also provide another great way for people to let us know how and where we can improve as we strive to always do better.”
