Do you know who this man is? Police say he robbed a bank

VIRGINIA BEACH — Police are asking the public for help in identifying and finding a man they say robbed a local bank Thursday afternoon.

To aid in their investigation, detectives released surveillance photos of the suspect, described as a medium-build man, 20 to 30 years old, standing between 5 feet 6 inches and 5 feet 9 inches tall.

Police said the man went into BayPort Credit Union, 5225 Providence Road, around 4:58 p.m. Thursday and demanded money from an employee.

The suspect fled after taking the cash. Police believe he left the scene in a smaller model white pickup with a camper shell.

No injuries were reported. No other information about the incident was immediately released.
