VIRGINIA BEACH — Residents will have a chance to give thanks and salute the brave men and women who serve in the nation’s armed forces.
The annual Patriotic Festival at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront will be on June 1-3. Organizers say attendees will be able to celebrate the military life of Hampton Roads and pay tribute to members of the armed forces and their loved ones.
According to organizers, the festival is one of the most renowned regional military celebrations and one of the most popular summer events in Virginia Beach. The festival will host three days of national touring artists concert, expos, and displays.
Through the USO Military Expo Village, attendees will be able to view exhibits, displays, and demonstrations from 15th Street to 20th Street during the festival.
Military members from all branches — Navy, Air Force, Army, Marines and Coast Guard — are expected participate in the festival.
Here are the performers:
- Brett Eldredge will be performing Friday, June 1, with special guest Ryan Kinder and DJ Ty Street.
- Brantley Gilbert, Saturday, June 2, with special guest Muscadine Bloodline and featuring Dj Ty Street.
- Cole Swindell, Sunday, June 3, with special guest Walker McGuire and featuring DJ Ty Street.
Concerts times will run Friday and Saturday evening and Sunday afternoon.
