James City County Police are looking for information after a Rolex watch with “great sentimental value” was stolen from a Jeffersons Hundred home.
Police say the watch, a yellow-gold 1986 Presidential Rolex 18-karat Oyster Perpetual Day-Date model, was taken from the owner’s home between Feb. 26 and March 15.
During that period, various service workers had been in the home, a county news release said.
The watch’s owner is offering a $2,500 reward for its return. Information that leads to the return of the watch may also be eligible for the reward.
Anyone with information on the incident should contact Investigator Kathy Swanson at 757-259-5165 or kathy.swanson@jamescitycountyva.gov.
Those with information may also contact the Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP. Callers to the Crime Line may remain anonymous, do not have to testify in court and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000 if the information leads to an arrest.
