Residents will be unable to launch their boats from Chickahominy Riverfront Park on Sunday.
The Eastern Virginia Scholastic Rowing Association’s Spring Regatta is being held April 22, according to a county news release.
As a result, the park’s boat ramp, fishing pier and paddlecraft rentals will not be available Sunday.
Senior Communications Specialist Veda McMullen said all other facilities at Chickahominy Riverfront Park will remain open.
Those wishing to launch their boat are advised by the county to use the James City County Marina on Jamestown Road.
