NORFOLK — The Norfolk Police Traffic Fatality Team is investigating a crash Friday morning that left a motorcyclist in serious condition.
Shortly after 11 a.m. police were called to a collision involving a motorcycle in the 700 block of North Newtown Road.
There, they found a man lying in the street with serious injuries.
The man was taken to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital with life-threatening injuries, police said in a news release.
The driver of the vehicle involved in the collision suffered minor injuries and remained on-scene following the crash.
Charges are pending the conclusion of the investigation, police said.
