Church-goers from different denominations will converge on Jamestown Island for a special Easter service Sunday.
The service takes place from 7 a.m. until 8 a.m. on Sunday at 1368 Colonial Parkway. Guests will have to walk about 10 minutes from the parking lot to the service site.
The service will begin with a recording of the ringing of Jamestown’s church bell.
Williamsburg clergy from different churches will lead the Interdenominational Worship Service, according to a news release on VisitWilliamsburg.com. The service is being held in cooperation with the National Park Service and Preservation Virginia.
Organizers asked that guests bring a lawn chair and wear comfortable clothes.
