Looking to get out of the house this Easter weekend? Here are some options

It’s Easter weekend, meaning stores are closed and family might be in town.

For many, that means pushing typical weekend plans to the side for family time, Easter dinner and egg hunts.

But if you’re still itching to get out of the house for music and entertainment during the holiday weekend, there are still some options.

Friday night flights at Charly’s

Food, drink, music, and fun: Visit Charly’s Airport Restaurant at the Williamsburg Regional Airport for their first Friday Night Flights of the season.  Billy Jack Duo will play live music on the patio through the evening.

Jokes and Jammin’

Bring the whole family out for jokes and bluegrass music played live by Chisman Creek.

Live Music at the Water Street Grille

Join the Water Street Grille in Yorktown for live music. On Saturday, Settle Down Jack will be playing until 10 p.m.

Panglossian Productions Presents Ripcord

Written by David Lindsay-Abaire and directed by Alex Morse, the play depicts “cantankerous” Abby, who must share her quarters with new-arrival Marilyn — and is determined to get rid of the “infuriatingly chipper woman.”

Date and time: March 30 and 31 at 7:30 p.m.

Williamsburg Comedy Club

See skits by popular comedians every Saturday. This week, three comedians, including Dylan Vattelana, Kenny Wingle and Hatton Jordan, will each perform half-hour skits.
