VIRGINIA BEACH- Green Flash Brewing Company is up for sale. The Virginia Beach brewery is listed on the site Heritage Global Partners.
The brewery opened its doors in Virginia Beach in November 2016. The $20 million facility is located at 1209 Craft Lane.
According to Nick Dove, a spokesperson for Heritage Global Partners, the entire facility is up for sale, not an auction or liquidation of the equipment. Dove says the sale is a turnkey operation only. The sale includes the 58,000-square-foot brewery, a tasting room with 30 Green Flash beers on tap, a beer garden and a retail store and a private-event room and garden.
Staff was on hand Saturday at the brewery. No one was able to comment about the sale–but Southside Daily was told the brewery was open for business and that the tasting room was busy.

According to a news release sent out by the company in January 2018, the company went through a strategic initiative that resulted in 15 percent of the company’s workforce transitioning out of the company.
Green Flash Brewing is headquartered in San Diego, Calif., and was established in 2002 by co-founders Mike and Lisa Hinkley. Brewmaster Erik Jensen, leads brewing operations.
Calls to the San Diego office had not been returned in time for publication of this story.
Editors note: In an earlier version of this story Southside Daily mentioned the business is up for auction. After speaking with a representative from Heritage Global Partners, officials say the entire business is for sale–not for auction.
