Colonial Williamsburg is offering a special perk for Virginia residents.

Starting on Friday, Virginians can purchase a one-day ticket to Colonial Williamsburg and return the rest of the year for free. The promotion will run until May 31.

The ticket grants access to Colonial Williamsburg’s exhibition sites, historic gardens, regular programs, historic trades shops, museums and shuttle bus services through Dec. 31, according to a news release from Colonial Williamsburg.

Single-day tickets are $40.99 for adults and $20.49 for youth.

Proof of residency is required and the promotion cannot be used with other Colonial Williamsburg discounts.
