Yorktown’s trolley’s are set to return to the historic town’s streets just in time for spring events at Riverwalk Landing.

The handicap-accessible, air conditioned trolleys will start operating March 17.

“It’s the best way to alleviate the difficulty of finding a parking space close to the waterfront, especially during peak tourist season,” a York County news release states. “Simply park at one of the many public parking lots in the historic area, hop on the trolley, and enjoy the ride.”

The service operates three trolleys on a 20-25 minute long route with stops at the Yorktown Battlefield Visitor Center, Victory Monument, Historic Main Street, Riverwalk Landing, Watermen’s Museum, and the American Revolution Museum at Yorktown among other stops.
