Gardening seasons yields questions before fruits and vegetables, find answers here

It’s gardening season: The Virginia Cooperative Extension of York County and Poquoson are offering up clinics to teach residents the proper way to prune garden plants.

The clinics will showcase the pruning methods that best promote the health and growth of garden plants, according to a York County news release.

All sessions are held from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. and you must register for the course.

  • March 10 – Taylor’s Do It Center, 475 Wythe Creek Road, Poquoson
  • March 17 – Ken Matthews Garden Center, Route 17, Yorktown
  • March 24 – Yorktown Feed Seed ‘N More, 310 Grafton Drive, Yorktown
