The Virginia Department of Game and Inland Fisheries has identified a body found on the James River as one of two missing boaters.

A body was recovered in Isle of Wight County on Sunday, and a medical examiner identified the body as 20-year-old Brian Austin Savage of Henrico County, according to VDGIF spokesman Lee Walker.

Savage’s body was found two months after he and 29-year-old Kyle Englehart of Charles City County went out on the James River at the Jamestown Yacht Basin on Jan. 3 — just before a snowstorm.

Savage’s family has been notified and his cause of death was drowning, according to Walker.

The department received notification about the identification on Monday.

Capt. Milt Robinson said the agency will continue searching for Englehart.
