An online company is looking to bring fresh groceries directly to your doorstep with same-day delivery.
Shipt, an online grocery marketplace, is looking to take the long walk to the milk cooler and replace it with a few clicks, according to a Shipt news release.
“We are set on bringing the convenience of same-day delivery and the personalized experience of Shipt to as many people as possible,” Shipt founder and CEO Bill Smith said in the release. “Through our app, everything our members need is right at their fingertips and can be on their kitchen counter in as soon as one hour.”
The company announced Thursday it will begin same-day delivery of certain grocery items and home essentials from three major retailers on March 15.
Products from Target, Lidl, and Kroger stores can be purchased online and delivered to your doorstep.
The company estimates nearly 1.6 million households will have access to the store’s products through its marketplace, with delivery in as little as an hour.
To use the service, consumers must subscribe to Shipt’s annual membership service, which costs $99. The company is offering membership for $49 annually to new members until March 15, according to the release.
