A school bus with students on board crashed on Pocahontas Trail Wednesday morning.
There were no injuries stemming from the accident, according to James City County Police spokeswoman Stephanie Williams.
The bus driver, Lisa Christina Lonsway, 53, was cited with “failure to maintain lane,” Williams said in an email.
The crash happened around 8 a.m. in the 8700 block of Pocahontas Trail.
The bus was driving when it crossed the double yellow line and sideswiped a tractor-trailer. The bus then careened off the road and into the ditch, where it came to a stop, Williams said.
