Holiday shipping deadlines for procrastinators with last-minute gifts

With less than two weeks until Christmas — is there still time to get gifts to your family and friends across the country?

Good news procrastinators, the U.S. Postal Service and other major mail carriers have several options for you.

USPS

According to the Postal Service, the recommended send-by dates for Dec. 25 delivery are:

-USPS Retail Ground: Dec. 14

-First-Class Mail: Dec. 19

-Priority Mail: Dec. 20

-Priority Mail Express: Dec. 22

FedEx

For FedEx, the recommended send-by dates for Dec. 25 delivery are:

-FedEx Ground: Dec. 15

-FedEx Express Saver: Dec. 19

-FedEx 2 Day: Dec. 20

-FedEx First Overnight, FedEx Priority Overnight and FedEx Standard Overnight: Dec. 21

UPS

If you want to ship by UPS, these are the send-by dates for Dec. 25 delivery:

-UPS 3-Day Select: Dec. 18 (will be delivered Dec. 22)

-UPS 2nd-Day Air: Dec. 20

-Next Day Air: Dec. 22 (must be labeled for Saturday delivery)
