NORFOLK — A bunch of Santas will be on the run this weekend in downtown Norfolk and to accommodate their dash there are some things you should know.
The fun run from Baxter’s to the Waterside District will close roads Saturday afternoon and restrict some parking.
The streets below will be closed and monitored by the Norfolk Police Department from 12:30-2 p.m.:
- Granby Street from Bute Street to Main Street in both directions
- Main Street from Granby Street to Martin’s Lane in both directions
- Martin’s Lane southbound from Main Street to Waterside Drive
- Waterside Drive from Main Street to Atlantic Street in both directions
Additionally, from 12:45-1:45 p.m. no one will be permitted to park in any spaces on Granby Street between Bute Street and Main Street or on Main Street between Granby Street and Martin’s Lane. Anyone who parks there before 12:45 p.m. will not be able to move their car until 1:45 p.m.
