James City County Police arrested a 24-year-old man Nov. 6 after he allegedly vandalized the Opus 9 Steakhouse, breaking furniture, dishes and bottles of alcohol.
Austin S. Farris, of Hayes, was arrested and charged with breaking and entering and property damage valued over $1,000, according to James City County Police spokeswoman Stephanie Williams.
Farris was a former employee of the restaurant, located in New Town.
Farris turned himself in to James City County Police at a prearranged location on Monticello Avenue Nov. 6, Williams said.

After cleanup that morning, business continued as usual the same day, General Manager Steve Smith told WYDaily Nov. 1.
Farris is scheduled to appear for a hearing at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday in the Williamsburg-James City County General District Court.
Online court records show he is out on bail.
