NORFOLK – It’s not even Thanksgiving yet, but the weather and holiday festivities at the Norfolk Premium Outlets will make it feel like Christmas this weekend.
Starting at 5 p.m. on Friday attendees can celebrate the oncoming season with a tree lighting ceremony, visits with Santa and a special performance by Lauren Duski of NBC’s “The Voice.”
A special Veteran’s Day tribute with Operation Homefront will take place during the lighting of the Christmas Tree on Friday evening. The holiday entertainment and activities will continue through Saturday.
Operation Homefront will also host a toy drive for local military children. Guests are encouraged to unwrapped toys with a $10 value or more at the center from Nov. 10 to Dec. 1 for donation to children of local military families and personnel stationed in the Norfolk area.
Stores like Michael Kors, True Religion Outlet, Armani Exchange, Crocs, Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein, Banana Republic and American Eagle Outfitters will help shoppers kick off holiday shopping, too.
