VIRGINIA BEACH — German grocer Lidl is opening another Virginia Beach location — its third in the city since June.
The new store at 1209 Edison Road will open on Thursday, Nov. 16 at 8 a.m.
The first 100 customers at the new location will be entered for a chance to win $100 in store gift cards. Grand opening specials also include “get-them-while-you-can” deals and a reusable bag giveaway.
Like previous locations, the Edison Road space is 20,000 square feet with a six-aisle layout and will feature an exclusive line of wines and fresh-baked breads and pastries.
The grocer is celebrating the holiday season at its U.S. locations with more than 500 seasonal products beginning on Nov. 2.
Lidl also has locations at 3248 Holland Road and 6196 Providence Road in Virginia Beach and 6440 North Military Highway in Norfolk.
