UPDATE: Road reopens after downed wires close Olde Towne Road

Update 3 p.m.: Olde Towne Road has reopened after downed power lines closed the road around 1 p.m. Wednesday, according to James City County Police spokeswoman Stephanie Williams.

Original story 1 p.m. Wednesday:

Downed power lines shut down Olde Towne Road around 1 p.m. Wednesday, according to an email from James City County Senior Emergency Communications Officer Diane Mason.

The lines are down at 5395 Olde Towne Road, near the Colonies at Williamsburg, Mason said.
