Two gubernatorial candidates will participate in the second debate Tuesday evening eight weeks ahead of the Nov. 7 election.
The hour-long debate between Republican Ed Gillespie and Democrat Ralph Northam is scheduled to start at 7 p.m. and will be broadcast on NBC. The debate will also be streamed online.
Hosted by the Northern Virginia Chamber of Commerce and the George Mason University Schar School of Policy and Government, the debate will be moderated by Chuck Todd, a political commentator and political director of NBC News. Todd will also be joined by a panel of regional journalists.
