Virginia Beach man pleads guilty to posing as teen to entice children to send nude images

VIRGINIA BEACH — A Virginia Beach man who posed as a teenage boy online to entice children to send him nude images pleaded guilty to child pornography charges on Wednesday.

Larry Anthony Radebaugh, 40, pleaded guilty to production of child pornography and possession of child pornography in the Eastern District Court of Virginia. he could be sentenced to up to 40 years in prison on Jan. 18, 2018, according to a U.S. Department of Justice news release.

Radebaugh created online relationships with several children by posing as a teenage boy on apps like Kik and TextNow. He used the relationships to entice children to send pictures and videos of them selves striking sexual poses and performing sex acts, according to the DOJ.

He also had phone sex with one child over Skype, but disabled his camera, prosecutors said.

He spoke to some of the kids for about a year and a half and saved much of the porn online and on his cell phone, according to the DOJ.
