Update 6:35 p.m. Wednesday: A vehicle accident on Interstate 64 East in York County resulted in two people being hospitalized with minor injuries Wednesday afternoon, according to Virginia State Police spokeswoman Sgt. Michelle Anaya.
A tractor trailer was changing lanes and forced a Nissan off the road. Two other vehicles then struck the Nissan, Anaya said. There were no charges filed as of Wednesday night.
Update 5:30 p.m. Wednesday:

All eastbound lanes reopened at 5:03 p.m. following the crash, Anaya said. State Police were initially called to the scene at 4:03 p.m.

A crash on I-64 East shut down all lanes of interstate traffic Wednesday evening.
The vehicle crash blocked all lanes of eastbound I-64 near Exit 242A (Route 199 West) in York County around 4:23 p.m., according to an alert posted on Twitter by the Virginia Department of Transportation.
VDOT Spokesperson Nina Napolitano said traffic was being detoured at Camp Peary. The back-up was about four miles. Napolitano could not confirm the number of vehicles involved in the accident and a spokesperson with the Virginia State Police did not immediately return requests for comment.
